Poor service and stale buns

I took my two sons and two of their friends to the Wimpy in Empire Road on Sat 30 March 2013. After we placed our orders, we waited a long time for our food to arrive. As my eldest son had ordered food with steak, I assumed that was the reason. However, when the food finally arrived (without an apology from the waitress for the long wait) I saw that my son had a thin piece of steak on his plate so that could not have been the reason for the delay. When I ate my burger, I realised that the bun was stale. I did not finish my food. After waiting a while for the waitress, I complained that the buns were stale. She explained that it was delivered that morning and offered to have another burger made. I refused as it would then be from the same supply so there would be no difference. I asked to see the manager. After a long wait for the manager, I complained about the poor service, stale food and my son's cold steak. She apologised and confessed that although the buns were delivered in the morning, it was stale. She did not even offer some consolation/compensation even though my bill totalled R366! I was livid and made it clear that I was unimpressed with their service!
