When making my selection of sweets this evening, i accidentally dropped 4 / 5 sweets onto the floor. I heard one of the staff members mumbling grumpily at my accident and noticed him go & pick up the sweets. He proceeded to take the sweets from the floor to the lady behind the counter, whispered in her ear & placed them in her hand.
As I went up to pay, the lady weighed my sweets, poured them into a packet & then while she thought i was not looking, she added the handful of sweets that had fallen on the floor to my packet of sweets! When i confronted her, both her & the manager denied this happening. We refused to purchase the now contaminated sweets & asked to speak to the manager. While on the phone to the manager, i watched as the teller lady proceeded to re-sort the contaminated bag of sweets & put them back into the sweet containers for the next unsuspecting customer to serve them up unknowingly!
Not only was this purely spiteful behaviour to try and make me eat the sweets i had accidentally dropped on the floor & when confronted to deny it, but this is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable for an establishment serving food to have staff that behave in this manner!
