As a (former) loyal customer of Primi Piatti, we looked forward to each of our visits to dine at the Canal Walk restaurant. However, during a recent visits we were appalled at the utter indifference the owner has had to when a friend and I contracted food poisoning at their restaurant.

We spent months trying to get the owner to acknowledge emails detailing our experience, along with doctors report, and proof of expenses lost due to the illness we received from their food. Even the manager of that night acknowledged the "chicken was off".

Within 1.5 hours of eating there, we both became ill. We both had violent fits of vomiting and diarrhea throughout the night. We went to the doctor the next day and had to be put on a "drip" for an hour. We also have incurred lost wages from time missed from work. We presented the owner with proof of our condition and losses.

NOT ONCE has the owner acknowledged our email; NOT ONCE has the owner apologized; NOT ONCE has the owner offered ANY compensation whatsoever.

The respect and value that this owner gives to their loyal customers is pathetic!
