My family and friends have been supporting Koi Restaurant in Lynnwood Bridge, Pretoria ever since it opened. It was and is expensive, but until a few months ago, for the quality food we received, we were willing to pay. The first time the food (especially the pancakes for the Peking Duck) was unacceptable and we had to send it back, we made excuses for that, but it has now been five times in a row, with two or three weeks in between visits that the food served has been unacceptable and we can no longer make excuses for that.
The staff are very friendly and try their best, but none of the floor staff can do anything about the quality of produce ordered or what comes out of the kitchen. Each time we are apologised to profusely and they say that they will look into the problem, but it is never any better.
Koi Restaurant Lynnwood Bridge, this is goodbye. I am sorry to say this, but the quality of the food these days falls far short of the price you charge. We are willing to pay a premium for quality, but what you are feeding us is unacceptable.
