Around lunch time I went to McDonald's Waverley. I wished to pay some of the items cash and some via MasterCard. Mcdonald's cannot do this. The 'robotic staff' and digital systems do not have the mind capacity to process something so simple. Invoice: 019501500000219
I've been at this branch in Jan 2013, where I was still busy placing my order, and then the assistant asked me to just hold on for a second. I sat their and wait till Christmas came. I left, bought Nothing there.
McDonald's Irene Mall: They are 24 hours. However the gates to allow traffic to flow back to Pierre van Ryneveld are closed at night. So if you are from Pierre van Ryneveld, you are not allowed to return, unless you make a dramatic illegal turn over the main road (R21 ramp), risking child and limb.
McDonald's Waterkloof: 24h. They have no ice cream after 9pm, however they still advertise availability. If you were in the drive-thru, and you don't wish to continue your order, you need to sit there like a prisoner until the other vehicles have exit the drive thru. Seems to me that McDonald's SA is slowly but surely sinking into sewerage! The market is open for something new...
