Whilst living in Cape Town, I regularly visited Melissa's Costantia (A GEM!) and so was very excited to visit JHB's first branch yesterday morning. What a dissapointment. I had to stop myself from gagging on my toasted sandwhich (that difficult?)! Followed by an awfully dry brownie. As if that wasn't enough, I bought some marshmallows and honeycomb to take home - and chucked both out after one bite. The food served at Parkhurst is truly disgusting. My experience delightlfully rounded up by a not-so-charming cashier refusing to allow me to tip my waiter and insisting I put it in the tip jar? What a disgrace!
