On the 29 December 2013 a group of 12 people sat down to rest and have some dessert.
After placing all orders - Including 4 adult waffles and 3 kiddies butterfly waffles...
Not only did the deserts take over an hour to arrive, the waffles arrived cold with the icecream melted and running off the side of the waffles and RAW!!!
upon approaching the waiter and manager, they merely appologised by saying that "there is only 1 waffle machine and it must be giving problems"..."Im sorry, just order somthing else then"...
It was shocking that we were even served the poor looking waffle. the chef probably made 1 with the ice cream and then left it while he made the others. How unprofessional!!! We bring visitors from far to 'Our Spur' and this is the service we get.
We didnt want something else, we wanted waffles. why werent we told this when we placed the order then we would have gone somewhere else... What a complete waste of time and money.
Spur should be ashamed of themselves and especially their staff!!!
