Yesterday (4th February 2014) my dad called Romans Pizza to place an order that he was going to pick up shortly after work, he spoke to a lady Cindy who had taken his order and had given him the total of R111 and some cents, he wrote her name and total amt down to remember when he got there. When he went to fetch his order he was then given a price of R165 to which he then showed her the paper as proof that he had written down the initial amount she had given him over the phone, she insisted he was wrong and then said the system was wrong & then gave him a price of R145, he refused to pay it as she had now given him 3 different amounts, the manager Patrick appeared he was of no help when my dad arrived home Patrick had phoned him to say it's not their fault it's my dads fault and was blatantly rude over the phone as a MANAGER! And to make matters worse the cashier next to Cindy was laughing and making a joke of my dad in Zulu saying "he's fussing to pay R20" to which my dad responded to her in Zulu to make her aware that he understands what she is saying! The point is not even the manager could put the customer first but was rude and defended Cindy and their "system"! No apologies from them
