A group of my my friends took me to lunch for my birthday on the 14th of December. We arrived at 11.50 and had to wait outside in the scorching sun as they open their doors for lunch at 12 sharp. Annoyingly the prawns weren't deveined and the hake's batter was extremely thick. Lunch was mediocre, but the ultimate was the owner, Stefan's rude and brash attitude. Like an army general he laid down his rules. He then said to me, a customer that he didn't like me. Naturally I returned the compliment and pointed out his lack of social skills. Even the poor waiter whispered and moved around silently. The dismal and sad decor is a tad tired too. I was horrified to see that the same door led to both the toilets and the fresh fish store!!! Stefan just carried on bragging about how long he has had the restaurant and that he is fully booked to who knows when. There are six restaurants in Pringle Bay. Hook, Line and Sinker is rated fourth??? Honestly I do not know why people go there and accept it as the norm to be spoken to in such a rude manner. Maybe it is for the show, because it definitely isn't for the cuisine
