1. Lovely looking cappuccino. However, under all the froth are only three sips of coffee. This has happened at various branches. Then finally I queried it. Aah, I was told, if you want coffee to the normal level and then the foam, you need to ask for a "wet cappuccino" Why is this fact not stated on the menu?
2. Today I asked for a tall/large cappuccino and remembered to ask for "wet". The bill came with an added R1. "What is this extra charge for? " we queried the waiter. "That, " the waiter said, "is the charge for the use of the tall/large cup." The CUP?? "May we take it home? " "No, it's just a charge for the use of the cup." (The poor guy was becoming very defensive as he was obviously helpless against company policy.)
Our feeling is that the company is doing it's level best to conceal the true price and the customer in both the above matters.
