I recently visit the nandos malibongwe. I called in and placed an order for a saucy rice and quarter chicken and just asked them to add hot sauce to my rice. On my arrival to pick up my order I realised they charged an extra R 15 for my meal. When I enquired why the extra charge they said they couldn't offer me the meal as I wanted hot sauce on the rice and the meal specifically says tomatoes relish. So they had to charge the rice and quarter separately resulting in a extra R 15 being added to my meal. Was the chicken bigger? No. Was the rice bigger? No. So what was I paying for? Hot sauce that was supposed to be free. I was disgusted by the level of service I received and the overall attitude of nandos in general as it is not just this nandos that treats their customers this way. I say there's plenty of other Portuguese restaurants so rather go elsewhere.
