A friend of mine (student) was looking for a holiday job so she gave in her c.v to Gecko Cafe' Park n Shop Meadowridge
A few days went by and she got called for an interview.
She arrived got shown around and learnt the menu etc. at the end of it all she asked the pay and was told it was only R5 an hour and will have to rely on tips, would not get paid for training and over the weeks it should go up a bit from R5! that is absolutely disgusting and while leaving as she was no longer interested, one of the kitchen staff told her that they pay very badly and that she must not waste her time.
