I was absolutely appalled by the poor and arrogant service I received from Steers Dowerglen. I purchased supper to the value R231.40 (receipt no 5627) for my family as we do at Steers most Friday evenings. When I arrived home and opened my regular order of 500g of pork ribs I was shocked to see the portion size. On weighing my ribs, chips with the box it just reached 500g.
On my return to Steers Dowerglen I asked Ntombi and Thule who served me and has done previously to check whether my order is correct as it seemed little. Once they confirmed this is the portion size I asked for my money back as I was not satisfied with it. The supervisor told them that under no circumstance will they refund my money as there is absolutely nothing wrong with the food.
We exchanged words as he was adamant that he knows his rights as a supplier and does not have to refund my money. Andrew Bwanya was to say the least, the rudest customer liaison/ supervisor this shop can have, as he has no clue how to deal with paying customers.
