I am deeply disgusted with the service i received from news cafe yesterday. the barman (Ben) charged me R68 for a Beverly Hills Cocktail that is known to be R60 and he tells me the prices have increased which was fine by me. Then later my Colleague buys the same drink and she gets charged the original price and when i asked the barman he then laughs at me and gives me R5 back and says he was going to give it back by the end of the night. it was not about the money but the fact that he straight to my face and then instead of apologising he laughs about it, the "manager" came and said it is a must to give tip of 10%, last i checked a tip was a gratuity for excellent service received and 10%of R60 is R6 not R8. i am truly upset with the way i was treated because i was taken for a fool and there was no respect at all.
