I went to Debonairs Pizza at the Caltex Building in Bloemfontein and ordered a Real Deal Something Meaty sub and 500ml Coke combo. My order number was 45 and my order was placed at 13:16. Other people came in, ordered, received their food and left. I sat patiently and only noticed about 30 minutes later that people that came in long after me, have left already. That is when I started listening to the order numbers only to hear that they were way past my order number already. I got up and asked the lady that helped me how long my food will still be, seeing that almost 40 minutes have passed. She spoke to the other ladies and I was dutifully informed that my food is still in the oven. I got upset since I was waiting for a long time and was then only told that they cancelled another customer's order which was incidently the same as mine and then inadvertently cancelled mine too. I was told to be patient and that is when I requested a refund and left! Service excellence definitely!!! As a loyal customer to the brand, I feel to never spend another cent with Debonairs as I feel my time was wasted and no apology was extended to me!
