Yesterday went to Cape Gate to Burger King. I don't eat burgers but as a surprise for my husband decided to spoil him as he has been trying to get one at the Cape Town branch but he is a driver and cannot stand in long queues to wait.
Got there at about 15.40 and thought it looks quite empty. Stood in queue, only one before me. Got to the front and ordered a double whopper med meal to take awayl. My ticket was 386. Gave me a paper cup for the cold drink. No signs up how to use machine. (I wasn't the only one struggling), the machine was sticky and full of ice. Stood and waited and watched. After me, there were five people that came in for sit down and take away. Burgers were coming out of the kitchen onto the pass and nobody was doing anything, this went on for 2 mins 25 seconds and then the one guy started packing. 10 mins and everybody else (the 5 people) were all served and I wasn't. Went to ask and they looked at me with no interest. No apology. Spoke to the manager and he tried to say that different orders etc. which I understand. Looked like the supervisor (white shirt) eventually helped. I was highly disgusted in the service and never again.
