My daughter and I went to Panarottis on Sunday morning. I haven't been to a Panarottis in years. Greenstone store has just opened & we decided to give it a try. We initially sat at a small two seater booth. When we ordered, the waitress told us it was kids eat free. I ordered the Saltimbocca and a pizza snake for my daughter. Before the food arrived, we moved to a bigger table. The pizza snake was fine but my Saltimbocca was mediocre to say the least and the "fillet" was very overcooked and two pieces were in actual fact burnt! Rest of dish was watery sauce and some ham/bacon. Now we know about complaining in restaurants and sending food back... When we got the bill, I saw that I was charged for the pizza snake, I queried this with the waitress who told me the "eat free" only applies to a kids pizza or pasta. She pointed to a specials card on table which wasnt on our initial smaller table when we ordered! This was not clearly stated in the first place! I was most UPSET. The pizza snake costs R32.90 and a lot of the kids pizzas are way more than that! So first of all I must pay for a supposedly "free" meal and then MY meal which costs a steep R109 is terrible. NOT HAPPY!
