I went for lunch at Barcelos Mmabatho (Megacity) where I ordered & paid for a sit-in meal at the counter. I then went to sit down on a vacant table. After a few minutes, while sitting down waiting to be served I was approached by a certain waiter wearing the green Boks jersey. To my horror, he unashamedly told me that he has prepared the table for someone else, implying that I should vacate the table. I was extremely disgusted by this behaviour. Firstly, I took a vacant table and there was no indication whatsoever that it was reserved. Secondly, I was the first to arrive and not this waiter's preferred customer. I've never been so humiliated! I felt unwelcome as a customer and wanted to demand my refund. Fortunately the waiter's preffered customer asked me not to leave and shared the table with me. After eating I went to this waiter and asked him whether he was serious about wanting me to vacate the table. I asked him what his is name is and he said its Tabane. He was unapologetic about his behaviour. I do not think that I will ever set my foot there again after Tabane's disgusting conduct. Clearly Barcelos Mmabatho does not need me as a customer.
