Yesterday afternoon, we were rudely informed we had to sit down to receive any special.
I called HQ as I had done research and reading and didn't seen this in any terms and conditions. After calling the store more then 4 times, I showed up in person and was surprised that the proud owners Dean and Mark had both vanished. One claimed to be sick and another working the Ocean basket a couple of doors down, yet both completely un-contactable by many angry customers, HQ and me. It was a surprise when not one customer was in the store with staff very poorly informed, if informed at all. We were told they would make the exception for us but we were in the wrong and would have to understand. Later that evening they "made- up" potion sizes and claimed specials on pastas were only for a half portion. This is odd as not even there normal menu offers these portion sizes. I will never be visiting any Mimmo's again and have spread the word around the community. We will be informing the local radio and newspaper about the atrocious service and breach of not only the Consumer Protection Act, but their fiduciary duty and contract towards Mimmo's the franchise itself.
