Thursday night, 7 November, vaal mall Panarottis
My girlfriend and I went to Panarottis, it was quite busy, with not a waiter in sight, so we took a seat on the waiting couches by the door, right by the walkway into the seating area. We waited 10minutes, none of the staff approached us, or offered to seat us, then another couple walked in past the waiting area (entrance) and stopped a waiter, and was promptly told: "lets see if we can get you a table". I was not happy with that, since the waiter didn't even look over to the waiting area to see IF there were any people waiting. I was not happy, but my girlfriend was furious and I noticed her disapproval immediately. I went over to a bunch of waiters and told them: "I have been waiting for 10minutes in the queue, but that man just walked in just now and was seated. Did he have a reservation? If so can I please see it in your reservation book? ". All the waiters replied with was boos-and-baas, spinning me a story: "If you would like to wait for the next table, we will make sure you get it". I was not going to wait another 10minutes, so we went home. My girlfriend was furious all night. Next time we are going to Spur across the road.
