Today I went to a place named Doggie-Style Hot Dogs. The store has a small kitchen with a hatch that opens onto the pavement.
Upon arrival, the customer before me was just finishing up. When I stepped up to the counter the lady staffing the counter looked away and began to do something on her phone. I waited. She ignored me. After some time, I felt this was becoming awkward and shifted about a bit, also clearing my throat. She remained unresponsive. I then waited even longer.
Then I said, "I am going to go and buy a Coke somewhere else because you are obviously not interested in serving me, " and I left. The lady looked up and called me back, asking what I had said. I repeated myself. The gentleman who had been cooking sausages turned around and began screaming at me.
He demanded that I "get out of his shop" and I needed to point out to him that I was not in his shop but on the pavement. Evidently, I am exactly the sort of person he hates. He then called me a. I left. He continued screaming at me as I crossed the road, calling me an a55h0l3 and something that rhymes with "bunt".
I object to this unhinged sociopath and suggest nobody buys his sausages.
