My father and I went to the Benore branch last night and ordered two 1/4 chicken portions. I wanted a lemon and herb leg portion and we were informed that they could not do leg portions, only breast. But I was able to oder a 1/2 chicken, which I ended up doing and sharing it with my dad. I had to get it mild as my dad did not like lemon and herb.
When we spoke to the manager about this, he had to go to the kitchen and then told us that they tell the cashiers that they must push other portions of chicken when they have too much stock of them. However, the cashier had told us THERE WAS NO STOCK and never gave us the option.
When our food arrived, the leg and breast portions were seperate anyway. I was not offered the option to get my half in my preferred flavour.
Becuase they wanted to push sales of a certain portion, I ended up having something I didn't want. This is unacceptable and I will never support this Nando's again.
