On Friday night 25 January 2013 my wife and I went for dinner at the Spur at the V&A in Cape Town. I ordered their 400g Pork Chops. When I received my food I realised that the the 2 chops I was served looked very small. The waitress initially insisted it was correct, but I then insisted that the chops were weighed. When I got to the Supervisor she said that their meat was delivered pre-weighed and that she will weigh a fresh packet - this ended up weighing 315g raw. She then weighed my portion and it came to 235g. Of course they apologised sincerely and even offered me my meal for free. The manager also promised to be in contact on Saturday which he didn't do. The point here is that if every packet is under with 100g then this restuarant is from their customers and they are then commiting a criminal offence.
