I was on course in Cape Town a month ago. During a visit to Nando's in Canal Walk I ordered my favourite - Quarter Chicken breast portion mild with wedges - extra saucy
When It arrived my wedges were nice and warm and freshly made, but the first bite of the chicken revealed that the chicken was cold (not even half warm- cold). I immediately called the waiter and he was very nice to take the food away. He returned the very same plate of food to me about two minutes later. It was now piping hot as they simply popped the whole lot into a microwave and heated it up. I am not the biggest microwave fan and wondered if this is standard practice at Nando's. That was without any doubt the worst experience I ever had at any Nando's.
