We had just stated our month long fast on the 17 September 2013 and on the 22 September 2013 we went to Spur in Morningside Glen. I ordered the vegeterian platter and asked the waiter if the dish is full veg with no egg and he assured me it was not. however while eating the "vegeterian quiche" I tasted egg and called the manager Jaco who advised me that there is egg in the quiche. I asked him how do you advertise vegeterian if it is not. He was not helpful at all and I advised him about our fast and now due to false information provided I had just broken my fast. He took my details and advised that head office will call me in the week and now almost a month later I am still waiting. Spur should be held liable for misrepresentation of dishes as due to them I broke my fast. I am totally disgusted at their attitude towards my religion and beliefs. Jaco gave me a very dont care attitude and I am still waiting for head office to contact me. I hope all the vegeterians and hindhus will boycott Spur clearly they dont care about their hindhu clients.
