On 6 September 2013 we went through to Wimpy in Sunward Park. We were a party of 8 people. We specifically went to Wimpy for the advertised breakfast with mug special. We were then informed that the special was no longer available because they were only sent 2 boxes of mugs which finished 2 weeks ago. On top of this the special is still being advertised. I find it unacceptable that this branch made no effort keep us from leaving the store. Even a token of offering us the same breakfast without the mug would have gone a long way but sadly this did not happen. We left & probably will not go back to this branch again. We emailed a complaint on the same date to Wimpy and they responded that we would receive complimentary cups, which never happened, on the 25th we emailed again and on the 30th of September they promised that same week. Still no response or action taken. Obviously Wimpy are not interested in rectifying and are not sincere in their apologies, very disappointing.
