We sat in the non-smoking section, they were having a braai outside and all the sliding doors were open, letting the smoke in. We asked if they could close the sliding door by us and our request was ignored. The deal was for a steak and fries. We were asked how we'd like our steak done, I requested medium and my partner requested his to be Blu / Rare. When we got served our food it was served on a scorching HOT hotplate! NEVER serve a specifically asked temp. steak on a hotplate, as it still cooks!! The meat was overdone & tasted horrible! When you cut the meat, the juices splatter all over you. I got served two small pieces of "steak", when I turned the one piece of meat over it was slivered at the bottom so all the good juices already drained out! When you order a piece of steak you get ONE piece of meat & done to the temp. you ask for! The steak was also covered in some sort of braai spice. They either do this, because of their poor quality meat or definitely do not know the principles of cooking meat! I returned my steak and the next was also horrible. The waitress looked at me dumbfounded when I returned my food and didn't even apologize. RESTAURANT NOT RECOMMENDED!
