Today my colleagues and I decided to have lunch at the Nando's in Kenilworth Centre which we often frequent, and to our dismay, the service was terrible. I had just run downstairs to buy something and returned to find my food waiting at our table. In a rush to eat (I was quite hungry), I poured salad dressing over my chicken as well as peri peri sauce.it was only thereafter that I noticed that the wing (of the breast and wing portion which I'd ordered) had been broken off.
When I called our waitron, Pele, to complain, he laughed and told me it was just a small piece of chicken and he couldn't return it as I had already poured dressing over. He then turned and walked away. Shortly after that incident, my one colleague found feathers in her food, but didn't even bother to complain, due to our waitron's negative attitude.
This has happened once before and was rectified by the manager then, however we needed to run back to office as our lunch was almost over and didn't have time to look for her and lodge a complaint.
We are highly disappointed, as the manager and the rest of the staff always treat us warmly as we are regulars who work close by.
Disappointing experience.
