Discusting service and branch management

The order was placed at 17:21, nice and early for a family with young kids for a special friday takeaway. It was then chased up at 18:33. There followed conversations initially with the lady who takes orders who couldn't answer when the order left the store, or where the driver was, but she would call right back. Nothing for 10 minutes. We then had to call back to hear the same story. Now we spoke to Duncan (sp?), the store manager who assured us that the food was on it's way and would be hot. So either the food was never prepared, never left the store or would arrive cold. a further 20 minutes went by with no delivery. My very irate wife by now has 2 grumpy hungry kids and calls the store back to find still no update. When trying to explain why this was such a debacle, the manager said "No, I can't relate", just phone the franchise manager. Eventually at 19:01 the driver arrives, with one container partially open, and one soup completely spilled empty. It looked like it had been pick up off a floor somewhere. Upset wife, upset kids, thanks for ruining a Family Friday!
