I am a regular customer and enjoy my almost weekly Steers meal, however this preceding Sunday I went to Steers (Eikestad) for my traditional Sunday evening supper ordering the twice the slice meal - firstly my chips were cold, oily and I received all the leftovers as there was only about 3 whole chips - then they gave me the wrong burger but at least exchanged it before I realised a few minutes later but then worst was that the bun was old and it tasted as if the burger was heated up in the microwave all chewy and old (as mentioned), the friendly guy at the till at least gave me a small chips to say sorry (however, these chips were also cold and oily). Another dissapointment was few weeks prior - I treated myself to the King Steer meal hearing that it is the best burger - After paying R65, I was not even full and the Burger was really dissapointing and tasted like nothing. But I assume, this is just how the burger tastes. Been really dissapointed with the Steers at Eikestad mall. Hopefully Burger King comes shortly as their Whopper meal for R40 beats the King Steer Meal price and taste wise, I hope that these events were isolated otherwise they going to lose customers shortly.
