We went to Moyo on the 29th of August for a farewell meal - we were 10 people.
On the menu under light meal there is an item "Gourmet Boerie roll" - the description on the menu is a beef boerewors in a home baked roll with onions, tomato, Gherkins and Chips for R59. When the food arrived it was as follows: a piece of boere wors, chips, one baby marrow cut in half and a baby carrot.
No roll, no onion, no gherkin, no tomato - when I asked management they said yes but the items on the menu have changed and the menu is actually out dated and offered a free round of drink.
Regardless of the free round, it is still absolute nonsense. Have we known when we ordered that we are going to get sausage and chips we would have gone to a corner cafe and paid R20 for the meal and not R59 and a piece of sausage and chips is surely not my idea of good meal. I surely would have asked for something else - but instead your are ripping your clients off with meals that looks good on the menu and when served is significantly different and significantly lower in quality and standard.
We are really actually disgusted with this situation - that plate of food was an insult to the people that ordered it.
