Walking past the old harbour area in Hermanus when we came across this restaurant
and were pulled up to the menu by the door man. The menu prices seemed average for a restaurant for calamari steak and catch of the day.
The waiters seemed like they were either high on cocaine, or recovering from massive hangovers.
Once we were seated and had already ordered drinks we started querying the menu only to find the mains come with NOTHING other than a piece of fish or what ever, no chips, no veg, NOTHING!
turning what was a fair priced meal into something stupidly expensive, was not made clear on the menu or at the door... It really felt like you are tricked in and then once its too late presented with a giant rip off.
I initially felt a bit upset for a few mins but as it was our anniversary I decided not too let this spoil it... was also thinking of leaving but we were already seated with drinks and it would have made for an even more awkward situation which we didn't want. food was very very average, below average even
had to order xtra chips not enough food! spent more than we wanted Lousy meal left a little hungary RIP OFF! Tourist trap! almost R100 for just piece of fish!
