OVERCHARGED FOR OUR BILL

Hi there.

On the 17th of August 2013, my 2 friends and i went out to lunch at Dros, Midrand. The bill came to R389.55. So, i asked the waitress there (I cannot remember her name) to deduct R200 from my account and my friend gave in R200 cash and whatever change we had, we contributed to the tip of around R40. I am now looking at my bank statement and I see that R389.55 was deducted from my account! I know that this is partly my fault as I should have taken a look at the payment receipt BUT i did explicitly mention to the waitress to deduct R200 from my credit card. Upon seeing that my 2 friends contributed R200 change, she did not mention a word that the bill had already been paid and so merrily took our payment of over R600. I am disgusted by the lack of honesty from the waitresses at Dros, Midrand and make a sincere warning to you all to check your payment receipt when paying with your card because the waitresses there cannot be trusted!
