On Saturday 17 Aug we went to watch a show at Die Boer in Dubanville. I booked our 6 tickets with Die Boer way in advance and ask for a specific table. In their confirmation email they said that I have to eat there if I attend the show of Kevin Leo which I had no problem doing so. I then once again asked for a spesific table but AGAIN with no answer. On arrival on Saturdag, just before 7pm (show starting at 8 pm), we were given a table right at the back and for starters we were not happy. Then when we wanted to order we were told the only had a few items on the menu still available. The had no burgers, no chicken and no bebotie. These were all the cheaper options on the menu since the Die Boer is really expensive with their food. Now it did not leave us with much of an option! I just feel it is really not good to FORCE people to eat at your restaurant after paying R110 per ticket for a show and then you end up being told that so many stuff on the menu is sold out. We were forced to eat there and we ordered in time as prescribed but yet they out of stock. You knew exactly how many people were going to be there so how can you run out of meals on the menu? This is really not great.
