On Thursday night my husband and I got milkshake take-aways from Steers Chilli Lane, Rivonia.
We noticed the lady fill up the machine but what spilt over to the sides and along the top of the ice-cream machines was just scooped up and poured to the ice cream machine, at the time not thinking about it we had our milkshakes, but hours later these milkshakes can back with vengeance, high fever severe diarrhoea and cramps that made labour feel like a tickle! It was then that we realised that it must have been the milkshakes and the poor hygiene surrounding the upkeep of the machine.
One cannot just scoop the spillage from a dirty surface in with the clean food!
