I was happily enjoying my Chicken Pollo at Sandton's Doppio, only to find that I was busy eating raw chicken coasted in crumbs.
I noticed halfway through, that the texture was soft..so soft in fact, that it was still pink and slimy.
Thats when I double checked and found out only towards the end.
I immediately told my waitor and showed him the poor quality of my food.
He apologised and then called the manager, who seemed to be less sympathetic
She said she informed the cook, and "i was lucky cos it was only poorly cooked at the end" because of the thickness of the chicken.
I found that pretty absurd and whats more she didn't even offer me a free colddrink let alone striking off the raw chicken from our table's bill.
At any other esteemed establishment this is standard practice.
Disappointed!
