I made the big mistake of taking my family for lunch at Porrots in the Menlyn Centre. The service was slow and the food cold when it arrived but I was willing to see past al that and spend time with my family.
The issue came when we tried to pay. They experienced connection issues on their speedpoint machines and after holding on to my card for 12 minutes and trying differint machines the manager showed up for the first time and just told me that he can not help me I need to go to the ATM and get cash. Not asking, demanding that I go and get cash. He was so rude that he send one of his waiters along with me to check that I draw the money and come and pay, While my family waited for me at the venue. Not at one stage did I even remotely indicated that I will refuse to pay BUT WAS TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL THE WHOLE TIME! If someone don't respond to this complaint before Monday COB I will take this to every possible forum and spend my time actively discouraging people from visit this restaurant and risk being treated like criminals.
