My husband and I decided to have a meal at wimpy for lunch. We had ordered x2 Cheesy BBQ deal for 34.90 each. We had waited for our food to be served calmly. I noticed it had been made and waiting for the waitress to just now serve I, . this didn't happen for about 5 minutes it just laid there on the orders table - waiting to be collected. We said nothing. the food was finally served (cold) The appearance was terrible. The one plate had about 7 chips on it. We told the Waitress Zethu to call the Manageress. Sli the manageress came over told us that we were meant to have 14 chips on our plate?? took our food back to the kitchen. On her way back to the kitchen both Zethu and Sli had a good laugh on our behalf.
Sli bought our food back and DIDNT EVEN APOLOGISE!!
My husband expressed his disgust with the person taking payment Phumalani stating that it was the worst meal he had eaten in 10 years only to get a smile and a smirk from the gentleman.
We were so unhappy eating that food it tasted horrible yet the service and quality of food at the wimpy mere 400 metres up the road is a world apart perhaps the galleria branch should reconsider its lease.
