McDonalds are a company that do not respond to reports on Hellopeter, maybe they should start taking notice of their customers comments, there appear to be plenty of complaints!
On the 19th June I popped into the Milnerton branch to buy a quick takeaway lunch. The advertisement on the board inside shows a Big Mac meal for R39.50 and an upsize to a large for an extra R4.50. I ordered a large Big Mac meal and was told it was R59.00. I paid the money without thinking and noticed that I wasn't given a till slip. I collected my meal and when I got to my car I added up the cost as it seemed expensive. I realised that I was overcharged, so I went back into the restaurant to point this out. The woman who served me made out that she didn't understand my complaint. A man came over, whom I assume is the manager, looked at the computer display and said to her, (not to me), "oh, you charged for another large fries", and walked away. The woman looked at me dumbly, so I asked her for a refund for the fries I never got. Eventually after waiting I was given the money with no apology or anything! I'll never go to McDonalds again after this experience. I wonder how often this happens to other people?
