Hi, on two separate occasions, I have gone to The Fish And Chip Co. and I feel I have been over as a customer. A week or two ago, I went to the one at Bright Water Commons and when I asked for their chip spice, they gave me their chili spice and insisted that I (the customer) was wrong and that I indeed was already using their chip spice. That was okay, I didn't make a scene over it.
However, on Friday (7 June 2013), I went to the one on Oxford Road in Ferndale, Randburg and when I paid R30 for the large chips (which to my knowing is meant to be 800g worth of chips), I got so little chips I could see the bottom of the box in which they were supplied. When I pointed this out to the person serving me, he laughed at me and I did not get what I paid for.
I will not support your franchise any more if your employees continue to abuse the good faith of your customers. One of the first things they should learn is that "the customer is always right".
I know my rights and am fully aware of the CPA and will not hesitate to put your employees in a difficult situation if they continue to behave as they do.
