When I phoned to make a reservation for my daughter's birthday, I enquired whether there was disabled access. The lady making the reservation was unable to understand my query. After explaining I use a mobility scooter and need to know whether there were stairs to gain entry to the restaurant, I was assured that there were no stairs. On arriving at the restaurant, I discovered to my dismay that there was a large step at the entrance. I was told that their ramp/access was broken and told that I could be picked up. Firstly, the scooter is heavy and secondly I will not make an undignified entrance into any restaurant. The manager then said he would make a plan. He promptly disappeared - never to return. When I later returned to tell him my daughter's birthday had been ruined, he displayed no regret and walked away while I was in mid-sentence. This behavior was witnessed by five other people. He displayed a blatant disregard for my plight and complete disrespect for the physically disabled. His behavior was both arrogant and lacking in any compassion. His extreme rudeness is, in addition, intolerable.
