HI.My bf and I decided to try Mikes Kitch Milnerton last Sat. We were greeted with a smile at the entrance and provided with a booth immediately.
The waitress (Angeline) was so polite and she was very helpful with all the questions we asked-being fussy eaters. We decided to take a burger for my bf and ribs&calamari for me, a caramel ice-cream dessert to share at the end.
The food was really good, the meat slid off the rib bone, the calamari was lovely tubes (refreshing change from the oily deep fried crumb kind) and the burger had REAL grated cheese (not that plastic square sheets) - a rare sighting in burgers now a days.
While we sat, the waiters & waitress' where constantly cleaning, the empty booths, even doing a quick sweep of the area. This was Great, I couldnt believe it. When they didnt have orders to take, they cleaned up. The place was spotless all the time. The bathroom (ladies) was clean and neat as well.
On departure, the door was opened for us, and greeted with a smile. For a family style restaurant, I am really impressed.
We will definitely go back to the Milnerton Mikes Kitchen, it was really nice having lunch there.
