We pre-booked a table at the Black Forest for Mothers day lunch & we expected something nice.
We arrived at 12:00 & only manage to leave at 3:30 dew to bad service or lack there of
We waited extremely long for everything we ordered.
2 starters were served on 1 plate, we were told by the waiter it's a double portion and that 2 people have to share, this after we specially ordered this before hand and volunteered to pay extra.
The Prawn curry was a laugh with only 8 small prawns dotted around a heap of rice on a plate. The Mustard sauce on the chicken was so overpowering that you couldn't taste anything else on the plate. The Fillet Medallions were so thin and small the men wanted to go to a nearby steak house and eat again.By the time we could order desert the Cr? me B was finished, & the deep fried Ice Cream a true disappointment. No baked potatoes were available & although the waiter promised to bring some sour cream, it was never served. We waited up to 30min just to order a drink & when we paid the bill, the waiter decided to ad an extra R100 on the amount charged to the cred card for himself. On reporting it we were told: "you got your money back, that's all that's important"
