On Motherday I took my mother to the Wimpy at Cresta. We bought take aways and whilst we were waiting for the food (they were very busy) we were looking throught the window at the people preparing the food and to our horror we saw them touch the food with their bare hands. Policy states that there needs to be a container with hand sanitizer in which the kitchen staff need to rinse their hands every 20 minutes if they do not wear gloves. We waited more than 20 minutes as the restaurant was very busy and not once did we see them rinse their hands.
What happens if one of the kitchen staff has a stomach bugg and then touch the food and contaminate the food and cause a food poisioning epidemic?
From now on I will think twice before going there again.
