Yesterday evening i've suggested my colleagues from George to join me at the Spur for a informal get together.
We had wonderful milkshakes etc. We decided to order two Monday specials- One chicken - and the other Beef. According to my colleagues-the chicken was wonderful- but in the case of the Beef (one of which was mine) was as hard/burned tasteless and thin as you wont believe. My colleague that were having the other beef burger... experienced the same. I must be honest i was totally embarrassed firstly by suggesting Spur to meet up and be served with such awful food. I've tried to understand (being in the customer service industry for years) what happened. Did we get old warmed up beef burgers- were they prepared prior... due to it being a special night. As i watched the TV monitors in your restaurant -it showed the special. I must say -that our Beef burgers looked totally different as what was shown. It was NOT the spur i know. But hey so we learn and MOVE on! When we left we've discussed the meal- and a strange thought came up in my head... Was that burger made from Donkey- cause surely i did not taste like Beef... International airport- but the standard...??
