Unacceptable Service!!!

Claim 96686594 - I contacted Outsurance on Tues 23 April 2013 regarding water dripping on the outside of my roof (geyser over-flow). They referred the matter to a company called 24Fix (Harold Madikoto). The company arrived on Wed 24 April, took a look at where the leak was (on the outside of my house), tugged on a pipe and ran it into the gutter and demanded R750 in cash from me (this took less than 2 minutes). I didn't pay this as Outsurance pays for the first hour (confirmed with Kelly). In tugging on the pipe, these expert plumbers pulled the pipe loose from the geyser - the result is water damage to a cupboard in my house. I personally had to fix it over the week-end. I've contacted Outsurance now, who first want 24Fix to investigate, upon which, if 24Fix is at fault - 24Fix will pay me??? Outsurance does not take responsibility for their 3rd parties workmanship - I've never heard anything so crazy!!! Outsurance nominates these "experts" - then wash their hands when these "experts" mess up. This is really not bending over backwards as the irritating advertisements show

Please Outsurance - act like you do on your ads - this is not acceptable!!!
