After banking with ALL other banks i thought for a while this was the better bank. Now THIS is the main reason why i think they are the ^%&%$##@%^ bank of ALL the others i dealt with. On their system a note was made.stating i would make arrangements for payment after i know what i will get paid from U.i.F. I was assured on a previous visit that NO DEDUCTIONS will be made if the bank see its a U.I.F deposit. Yesterday over a R5000 was deposited into my account.they made deductions leaving me with just over R400.For arrears in payments. i submitted my retrenchment documents april 4/5 and still NO feedback. In the contract it says, i quote... if you are retrenched within three months from taking the loan only half of the amount owing to us may be covered'. i was retrenched 5 months after.yet no feedback. I was also told the amount i want to make arrangements with is too low. I have a house and two kids, so we must eat less and pay them more for a loan that has cover? when my wife applied for a small loan at capitec it was refused this month. AFRICAN bank helped us.i was also told by grant (consultant) that a client is still waiting for feedback from a covered loan since November 2012.disgusted
