I want to inform everyone about this, banks think they can play around with people lives and get away with it, i was shocked when i did an application at Nedbank to find out that there was a default (standard bank) on my itc and strangely enough i did an application in Feb at Standard Bank and i got a loan of R50, 000 and there was no problem, a credit card of 1998 and there was a large amount oustanding to date and the last payment was in 2011, now this just does not make sense, a credit card of 1998 and there was a substantial amount outstanding, which meant they had to stop the card as i was supposed to be in arrears and they say the last payment was made in 2011 which they have to have a logg, when i called the credit card legal dep i asked them to send me the proof about this, the guy just kept on i was responsible for this and i told him i have no idea about this, he was persistent, i then called both experian and transunion with to challenge this report, they did and it was removed, but now i did an application at absa and this was loaded on their system, they must give me the actual contract with my signature on and proof of payments
