Having SMS notifications on your account is definitely a useful feature, such a pity that ABSA seems unable to send the correct information with these notifications.
So far this year ABSA has not had the account balance / available balance right once so far.
Generally ABSA's sms messages overstate the account balance by more than R2000.
Staff in the branches are unable to resolve or explain this problem, meanwhile ABSA continues to charge me for a service that provides false information.
(and no, it's not due to uncleared transactions)
Is there anyone at ABSA who can make this work properly?
