Our club has an account with ABSA under account 9211864147 in the name of Alberton Angling Club. We requested ABSA to close the account and transfer the credit balance to our current account 1910360856 held at Nedbank. ABSA requires the members who opened the ABSA account to close the account, which is impossible, as the members have left the club many years ago. We have now been struggling for the past year now to close the account without any success.
